A quarter of a century of Move & Traffic Controls: An anniversary in a class of its own
On June 19, 2024 Move & Traffic Controls GmbH celebrated its 25th anniversary - a significant milestone that was recognized with a magnificent celebration. The celebration began at 3:00 p.m. in the decorated business premises, where friends, business partners and families of the MTC team came together to celebrate this special day.
Colorful decorations and a warm welcome
At the entrance, guests were greeted by a sea of blue and yellow balloons, the characteristic colors of Move & Traffic Controls. A spectacular highlight was the huge “25” made of helium balloons, which was placed in the middle of the room.
provided by our neighbor Little Party Hero The seating and tables came from another neighbor, BÄRLIN TEAM EVENTDESIGN GMBH . These partnerships show how connected and supportive the location at Plauener Str. 163-165 is.
Culinary delights and lively conversations
The celebration offered various culinary stations with something for every taste. From lavish buffet tables, a coffee corner to a slushy machine, guests were able to enjoy a variety of treats. It was a perfect mix of relaxed get-togethers and lively conversations, where both business topics and personal stories were exchanged.
A sporty touch
A special feature of the evening was the public viewing area, which was set up due to the second group game of the European Championship in which Germany played. Over the course of the evening, this area became a meeting place where families and friends of the MTC team gathered to watch and cheer for football together.
Promotional material and gifts
At the entrance we also presented our new advertising material in the company colors. Guests were able to enjoy a selection of gym bags, mugs, dog holders and pens - all practical and stylish reminders of the anniversary.
A day to remember
The careful planning and preparation that took place over several weeks was undoubtedly worth it. It was a celebration that recognized not only Move & Traffic Controls' achievements, but also the strong community the company has built over the years.
We would like to thank everyone who came to celebrate with us and especially those who worked behind the scenes to make this day possible. Here’s to the next 25 years of innovation and success!
Interview on the 25th anniversary with Managing Director Volker Trapp
Review: What was MTC's biggest success in the last 25 years?
Our greatest success is undoubtedly our continued growth over the last 25 years in an increasingly complex environment. We have successfully established ourselves as a brand in our core markets.
Innovation: Which product are you particularly proud of?
Two products in particular come to mind: Firstly, our TrafficonLine, a door monitoring system that was developed to ensure the safety of passengers when getting on and off buses and trains and is one of the most innovative of its kind. On the other hand, our vehicle underbody inspection system auto²scan, which is used in safety-relevant facilities and has made us one of the world market leaders.
Future: What is the next big goal for MTC?
If I had to summarize the goal in one sentence, it would be to continue to be as successful as before for the next 25 years.
Customer satisfaction: How important is customer feedback for your development?
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we base all of our quality processes on this. For us, the customer really is still the focus.
Team: What do you value most about your team?
I particularly appreciate the team's willingness to face new and growing challenges every day, to constantly develop personally and professionally and to treat each other with respect.
