Repair concept

Liability for defects or warranty of the company Move & Traffic Controls

The warranty provided by Move & Traffic Controls defines the claims to which the buyer is entitled under a purchase agreement where Move & Traffic or the seller has delivered defective goods or items produced by Move & Traffic Controls.

Warranty

  • The warranty covers material defects, the promised quality of the product, incorrect delivery and improper assembly instructions.

Warranty period

  • The warranty period begins upon delivery of the goods to the customer and is 12 months.

Examination of the warranty claim

  • based on the delivery note (with or without work order number) or the serial number and
  • A device-specific technical examination of the defective device, taking into account the customer's description of the fault, will be carried out to determine whether the warranty period has expired.

Subsequent performance

  • If a warranty claim exists, defective deliveries will preferably be repaired (rectification of defects) or replaced (replacement delivery) free of charge.
  • If there is no warranty claim because the technical inspection of the device shows no fault, Move & Traffic Controls charges a flat inspection fee of €20 for devices (e.g., Trafficonseries) and components, and a flat inspection fee of €80 for systems and system components.
  • If there is no warranty claim because the warranty period has expired, the customer will be provided with a written offer for repairing the device. This offer will also include, if applicable, an offer for a software update.

Shipping costs

  • Shipping costs (standard shipping method) will only be covered by Move & Traffic Controls if there is a valid warranty claim and the aforementioned conditions apply.
