Repair concept

Liability for defects or warranty of Move & Traffic Controls

The warranty of the company Move & Traffic Controls determines claims that the buyer is entitled to under a sales contract in which Move & Traffic or the seller has delivered defective goods or items that were produced by Move & Traffic Controls.

Warranty

  • The warranty refers to material defects, the promised quality of the product, incorrect delivery and improper assembly instructions.

Duration of the warranty

  • The warranty period begins with delivery of the goods to the customer and is 12 months.

Examination of the warranty claim

  • based on the delivery note (with or without work order number) or the serial number and
  • A device-specific technical inspection of the defective device, taking into account the customer's description of the error, is used to check whether the warranty period has expired.

Subsequent fulfillment

  • If there is a warranty claim, defective deliveries will preferably be repaired free of charge (repair of defects) or replaced (subsequent delivery).
  • If there is no warranty claim because the technical inspection of the device does not reveal any errors, Move & Traffic Controls charges a flat inspection fee of €20 for devices (e.g. Trafficonseries) and components and a flat inspection fee of €80 for systems and system components.
  • If there is no warranty claim because the warranty period has expired, the customer will be provided with a written offer to repair the device. The offer should also include an offer for a software update if necessary.

Shipping costs

  • The shipping costs (normal shipping method) will only be covered by Move & Traffic Controls if there is a legitimate warranty claim under the stated conditions.
